A-level Results 2026
13/08/2026

Record breaking results for st Christopher's Sixth Form!

"I am thrilled to celebrate this year’s outstanding set of record breaking A-level results. It has been a privilege to witness the joy and pride of so many students who have exceeded even our highest expectations.

Achievement has been strong across every subject area, with particularly impressive performances in our traditional academic courses. Once again, we have maintained an exceptional overall pass rate and secured the highest proportion of top A*-B grades for over ten years.

The Class of 2026 has produced a truly remarkable set of results. From the record number who achieved a string of A* and A grades to those who have made significant progress and triumphed over personal challenges, every student should feel immensely proud. They are a talented, resilient, and well-rounded group of young people.

I am delighted that so many of our leavers will now progress to prestigious universities such as Durham, Edinburgh, Exeter, Lancaster, and York, while others have secured highly sought-after degree apprenticeships with Rolls Royce and top international accountancy firms.

These successes are also a testament to the dedication, expertise, and care of our exceptional teaching staff, as well as the unwavering support of our parents. Together, we have helped our students to flourish and to uphold St Christopher’s long-standing reputation for academic excellence.”

Director of Sixth Form and Assistant Headteacher, Miss Davies, continued:

“I am delighted at this strong set of results from a remarkable cohort of students. These results are a testimony to their hard work and efforts over the last two years combined with the expertise and support of the teaching staff. They have all been a delight to have in the Sixth Form! We wish all our students every success for the future and trust they will take a piece of St Christopher’s with them as they move to pastures new.”
