The Government provides schools with additional funding to help children from lower income families to do their very best. This funding is called a ‘Pupil Premium’. For every child registered for Free School Meals (FSM) St Christopher’s CE High School receives additional funding per pupil and a child can receive a daily Free School Meal Allowance. Pupils who are classed as Looked After and children from service families also receive additional funding and parents with more than one child in school may also receive a subsidy regardless if your children are eligible for pupil premium support.
