16 – 19 Tuition Fund statement
St Christopher’s Sixth Form welcomes the support provided by the 16-19 Tuition Fund, which will help a number of our students whose learning has been disrupted by the Coronavirus pandemic.
The school’s allocation will be used to provide the following support during this academic year 2024/25:
- For the small number of A-level students who have not achieved a grade 4 or above in GCSE Maths/English. These students will be offered small group or individual one-to-one support by subject specialists to prepare them for assessments in these subjects.
- Students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), particularly those who have an Education, Health and Care (EHC) plan: these will be offered individual or small group support to provide catch-up in English, Maths and functional skills provided by learning mentors.
