Personal, Social, Health and Economics Education contributes to the personal development of our pupils by helping them to build their confidence, resilience and self-esteem.

Relationships and Sex Education

RSE is mainly taught within PSHEE lessons. There is also occasional input from external providers via drop down days. This is taught in line with the latest guidance from the Department for Education dated 2019. Elements of RSE are also covered within both the Science and R.E curriculum.

Relationships and Sex Education is age appropriate. The school’s Christian Ethos is promoted within RSE lessons.

Parents are reminded that they do have the right to withdraw their child from some or all of the sex education delivered as part of statutory RSE.

Further information about what is taught and when can be obtained by contacting the school.
