GCSE Results Success 2024
22/08/2024

I am delighted with this year’s pleasing set of GCSE results. The ‘class of 2024’ have risen to the challenge and displayed commendable levels of perseverance and tenacity resulting in qualifications which will allow them to move onto the school’s sixth form, further education or workplace learning. I am thrilled that our pupils have surpassed our high expectations.

Pupil attainment has been strong for pupils across the ability range, notably for our most able students where record results have been achieved.

It has been particularly pleasing to see that the number of top grades awarded has ducked the national trend and actually increased on levels last seen in 2019.

Our pupils deserve all the praise and acclaim that they will receive, and I wish them well, from those who attained at the highest level to those who made great progress and overcame challenging circumstances. They are a wonderful group of well-rounded young people I am thrilled that so many have chosen to continue their studies with us in the sixth form.

I also want to highlight the dedication and expertise of our talented teachers who have guided and nurtured them through their time at the school and to thank our parents for their unstinting support.

These results help to reinforce St Christopher’s long-standing reputation for academic excellence.
