An outstanding opportunity to teach in a flourishing and forward thinking 11-18 single academy where the wellbeing of staff is a priority. This vacancy becomes available as the current post holder will be on maternity leave. The length of post is dependent on the return of the post-holder but up to a maximum of 12 months.
Required for November 2025 for this heavily over-subscribed and successful Church of England Academy, an enthusiastic, able and ambitious teacher is sought to teach Lead Performing Arts throughout key stages 3 and 4, with the opportunity to deliver A-level for a candidate with the necessary experience and academic qualifications. This post is equally suited to an experienced practitioner or to a new entrant to the teaching profession.
The successful candidate will join a thriving and supportive team. Teachers thrive in an environment which balances support and structure with autonomy and independence. The number of students opting to study Performing Arts at GCSE is consistently high and this means that recruitment into A-Level is also strong.
The school of 1000 pupils and the Sixth Form of 300 students are attractively and conveniently situated close to the Ribble Valley. There are excellent motorway connections via M65 to M6 and M62.
