
Our Foundation Scripture

Our aim for pupils at St Christopher’s is clearly outlined in our foundation scripture; for all to prosper. The purpose of School Council to ensure we hear the voice of the whole school community and use this to implement positive changes which help our pupils thrive.
School Council representatives will be required to attend formal meetings, each half-term and put forward the thoughts and suggestions of their peers to influence school matters. A School Council representative should be a good role model, an effective communicator and a be confident working with others.
Some of the key areas of the role include;
- Represent: Gather and present the thoughts of your form group to ensure that all voices are heard and represented.
- Participate: Attend School Council meetings; be prepared to discuss agenda items and put forward ideas.
- Feedback: Share information from discussions at School Council, with form groups and wider school community.
- Action: Work with others to identify school matters and work towards solutions. Participate in organising improvements, events and activities that allow all pupils to prosper.

- Changes to the PSHE topics to make them more relevant to pupils needs
- Improvements to the dining room seating
- More exciting menu items for break and lunch.
