An outstanding opportunity to teach in a flourishing and forward thinking 11-18 single academy where the wellbeing of staff is a priority.

Required for September 2024 for this heavily over-subscribed and successful Church of England Academy, an enthusiastic, able and ambitious teacher is sought to teach Science at key stage 3 and Chemistry or Physics at key stage 4 and 5.

The successful candidate will join a thriving and supportive science team. The Science Department is very successful. All pupils take either two or three science GCSEs and last year 87% of Year 11 students gained at least two GCSE grades 9 - 4. The numbers opting to study science in our outstanding sixth form continues to grow.

The school of 1000 pupils, plus a Sixth Form of 300 pupils, is attractively and conveniently situated close to the Ribble Valley and has excellent motorway connections via M65 to M6 and M62.
