Design A Postcard Competition

The Technology Department at St-Christopher’s School are running their annual ‘Design A Postcard Competition’. This is a great excuse to be creative over half term!

Competition rules are:
Create a design that can be used on a postcard which will be sent home to students as a celebration of outstanding work. The design should include all technology subjects which are listed below:

  • Food
  • Textiles
  • Graphics
  • Design Technology
  • STEM

For inspiration you can use tools, equipment or materials that may be used within that subject.

The entries will be judged by the Technology Department and the winners will have their postcards made into the official celebration postcards for the academic year 2020-2021. Winners will notified and be given prizes and a certificate which can be used in their ‘Record of Achievement' file.

Students need to create their design by either of the following options:

  1. Design on a A4 piece of paper and colour using any crayons, felt pens or paint you may have available.
  2. Design your idea on the computer using any programme available.

Please note: You must not use images that have got copyright design on.

All entries should be photographed by the closing date 5th June and e-mailed to (please include your name and form) Mrs Parker:
