The Year 8 Bikeability course starts in earnest when we are back in April. The first group is 8YE and fingers crossed we have some glorious weather to start the term!
Please can pupils arrive in suitable cycling clothing for the weather (rain or shine). If it is raining, please bring a change of clothing. A water bottle and snack are also strongly advised. Bikes and helmets will be provided if needed by Go Velo.
The course is made up of a two hour ride and two hour map reading lesson. All pupils will take Period 5 as normal.

We are very proud to have established Bikeability within our school. Every pupil up to year 12 has had the opportunity to take part. Go Velo, our delivery partners have been able to meet the need of every child, from the non-rider, nervous rider to dyspraxic or various physical conditions, we are as inclusive as possible.
