A full-time Teacher of Boys PE is required for September 2024 in our award-winning and “Outstanding Church School” (SIAMS). The post offers an excellent opportunity to teach in a flourishing and successful Church of England Academy where we prioritise the wellbeing and development of all members of our school community. Our school is heavily over-subscribed and its record in public examinations is consistently strong.

We wish to appoint an exceptional teacher to join our creative, supportive and friendly PE Department. We are seeking a well-qualified and highly motivated individual, someone with an enthusiastic and dynamic professional approach. The ability to teach GCSE and A-level PE would be welcomed.

You will be passionate about PE and Sports and have a resolve to make a real difference to our pupils; setting a level of challenge for all abilities across all key stages within lessons and the thriving extra-curricular activities already on offer. We are seeking a strong practitioner, who is keen to develop their own practice to the highest level and take advantage of our excellent professional development programme. The school of 1000 pupils, plus a Sixth Form of 300 pupils, is attractively and conveniently situated close to the Ribble Valley and has excellent motorway connections via M65 to M6 and M62.
