We had another fantastic Inter-form Sports Day with the sun shining and plenty of smiles on pupils and staff. The competitors could only take part in 1 track and 1 field event each (and the relay). The events where split into field (Discus, Shot Put, Javelin & Long Jump) and track (100m, 200m, 300m & 800m) and points were given out to all places with 12 for 1st place running down to 1 point for 7th.
The winning Forms are as follows:
Year 7 - Form D
Year 8 - Form A
Year 9 - Form B
Year 10 - Form C
With Form B narrowly taking the overall House Tile for 2025 by 4 points!
Mr Black commented;
"It was a privilege to see so many of our wonderful pupils taking part in sports day athletics. It was a lovely atmosphere amongst competitors and spectators to make the day really special. Congratulations to all competitors who represented their form group in both the morning and afternoon events. You are a credit to your form and to the school. I would also like to thank all staff members who played their part to make sports day happen! Well done everyone and I am looking forward to next year already!"
And so are we…can 'Form B' retain the title next year.
