GCSE Results' Day: Update

Dear Student and Parent,

Arrangements for GCSE Results’ Day, 20th August 2020: UPDATE

We are looking forward to being able to share GCSE results with you tomorrow morning and to register those who are continuing to study with us in the sixth form. We want to make the collection of results as easy as possible.

1. Obtaining results electronically by using School Synergy

You will be able to access using the Synergy website from 9.00am. Please note: this is two hours earlier than originally announced.

You must use the secure Parental Portal to obtain your results in this way. Go to school synergy here.

Login with parent email previously registered for Parent Portal and password (if you have forgotten your password then click on the "Reset Password" button to be emailed a new password). Click on the documents tab (circled in red on photo below). Click on results document.

2. In person from the Sports Hall

If you wish to collect your results in person, you may do so at the time you have been allotted in Form Group order (see table below). Please make your way to the Sports Hall. If you are arriving by car, this should be parked on the yard near the Coates building. Once in the Sports Hall please use the hand-sanitiser provided and make your way to the appropriate desk to obtain a copy of your results whilst maintaining social distancing at all times. Unfortunately only one member of your family will be permitted to join you in the Sports Hall.

Please collect you results in the following Form Group order.

 Time Form Group
 09:00 11A
 09:15 11B
 09:30 11C
 09:45 11D
 10:00 11H
 10:15 11O
 10:30 11P
 10:45 11W

Once you have received your results please follow the one-way system and make your way out through the back of the Sports Hall. In order to promote social distancing we will have to ask that students avoid the temptation of gathering together and move directly from the school site and environs.

3. By telephone

If you phone for your results you will be asked a number of security questions to authenticate your identity. You will be able to phone from 10am.

Each exam results slip will be accompanied by a letter which explains the context of this year’s results and the methodology used by the school in arriving at our centre assessed grades.

Sixth Form Registration

Mr Cuff (Head of Sixth Form) is writing to all sixth form applicants today to offer a reminder of the different ways in which you can register. You will be pleased to hear that we are able to guarantee full-time face-to-face teaching from September for all sixth form courses. We know that you must be heartily sick of virtual learning and you will be looking forward to returning to the classroom and feeling part of a community once again.

If you have yet to apply for the sixth form it is still not too late. Please email Mr Cuff here or simply speak us when you have collected your results.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow.
