Outstanding GCSE Results 2026
20/08/2026

An outstanding set of results with records set across the board

Quite simply, these are the best results in the school’s recent history! We are jumping for joy! The ‘class of 2026’ have risen to the challenge and displayed commendable levels of perseverance and tenacity resulting in an outstanding set of GCSE qualifications. We are confident that all of our pupils will be able to move onto the school’s sixth form, further education or workplace learning with the confidence of knowing that they have done their very best.

It has been particularly pleasing to see that the number of 9-7 top grades awarded have been greater than for any other year group, reinforcing the school’s long-held reputation for academic excellence.

Our pupils deserve all the praise and acclaim that they will receive, and I wish them well, from those who attained at the highest level to those who made great progress and overcame challenging circumstances. They are a wonderful group of well-rounded young people I am thrilled that so many have chosen to continue their studies with us in the sixth form.

I also want to highlight the dedication and expertise of our talented teachers who have guided and nurtured them through their time at the school and to thank our parents for their unstinting support.
