CHARM Talent Show Showcases Incredible Pupil Talent
17/03/2026

St Christopher’s recently hosted its much-anticipated CHARM Talent Show, where a selection of our talented pupils performed in front of an enthusiastic audience to earn the honour of representing the school at the CHARM Grand Final, taking place at Accrington Academy on 19th March.

The show opened in style with a fantastic dance routine performed by Pheobe D, Olivia E and Evie N from Year 10, immediately setting the tone for an evening packed with energy and creativity.

Our very own compere extraordinaire, Mr Young, then took to the stage to introduce the judging panel. This year’s judges included school staff Mrs Lane and Mr Gardner, FoSC representative Mr Green, and former student Jamie Curry.

With the stage set and the audience ready, Mr Young welcomed the performers one by one to perform in front of a full and excited crowd of pupils, staff and family members.

The evening featured a wide variety of impressive performances:

• Evelyn R (Year 7) – Singing “In My Dreams” from Anastasia the Musical

• Milosz K (Year 7) – Stand-up comedy act

• Emily A and Milena J-N (Year 7) – Dancing and singing to “Pon de Replay”

• Darcy P (Year 8) – Singing – Part of your World

• Oliver B (Year 7) – Guitar performance of a Guns N’ Roses classic

• Sienna H and Summer A (Year 10) – Dancing to Rhianna - Disturbia”

• Hendrix M (Year 10) – Singing Agony by Chris Pine

• Carsen F (Year 8) – Piano performance • Katie B (Year 9) – Piano performance

• Lyla B and Rachel P (Year 10) – Dance performance

• Laila R (Year 10) – Dance performance

• Niamh M (Year 10) – Singing “Creep” by Radiohead

Every act was absolutely fantastic and left the judges thoroughly impressed. However, as with any competition there could only be one winner. After much deliberation, Niamh M (Year 10) was chosen to represent St Christopher’s at the CHARM Grand Final.

We could not be prouder of Niamh and of every pupil who took part in what was a truly memorable evening.

A huge thank you goes to our judging team, Mr Young, and the brilliant pupil Sound and Lighting team — Neil T, Sam G and Toby E. We are also very grateful to Mrs Wyld, FoSC for their continued support, and Miss Blackburn for organising the entire CHARM event and our school’s entry.

We wish Niamh the very best of luck at the final and look forward to hearing all about it next week.
