Required for September 2025 for this heavily over-subscribed and successful Church of England Academy, and award-winning Outstanding School (SIAMS). This vacancy becomes available following the promotion of the current postholder to senior leadership.

The English Department is a friendly and collegiate department in which teachers work in a mutually supportive
manner to ignite and foster a love of English in our pupils. Our team is made up of nine teaching staff and our
school librarian. The Head of Department is supported in his work by three Heads of Key Stages. We have 7
classrooms across the main school building and the sixth form.
The school of 1000 pupils, plus a Sixth Form of 300 pupils, is attractively and conveniently situated close to the Ribble Valley and has excellent motorway connections via M65 to M6 and M62.
